Olenguruone hospital to get Sh150m upgrade
Nakuru Governor Lee Kinyanjui was with Deputy President H.E Hon. William Ruto and a host of local leaders in Olenguruone today during the official opening of Mavuno Daima Sacco Plaza owned by Olenguruone Cooperative Society.
Governor Kinyanjui congratulated the Sacco on their achievements. He said the County will support farmers with AI services through saccos to improve their breed.
He said pyrethrum revival is on course and an American company, Kentegra is investing Sh400m in pyrethrum farming. They are also distributing seedlings to farmers.
“The County Government of Nakuru will channel Sh50million to Olenguruone health facility to improve service delivery. As leaders we support the Deputy President in all his endeavours,” he said.
The Deputy President said the National Government will add another Sh100million to the Olenguruone hospital.
The DP said the government will help the cooperative to ensure they can engage in milk processing.
He said the National Government will rehabilitate roads in Kuresoi South, Kuresoi North and Molo to ensure farmers are able to access markets.
The National Government will also work with the County Government to rehabilitate Olenguruone stadium.
