
Nakuru County Players Gear Up for EALASCA in Rwanda

Players from the Kenya Inter County Sports and Cultural Association (KICOSCA) are currently undergoing trials at the Siaya KMTC grounds as part of their preparations for the upcoming 13th Edition of the East Africa Local Authorities Sports and Cultural Association (EALASCA) in Rwanda.
The Nakuru County contingent is proud to have several of its members contributing to the national team in various disciplines, including Pool, Darts, Men’s Volleyball, and Football, as they gear up for the December event.
Josephine Achieng, the County Executive Committee Member for Youth, Sports, Gender, and Social Services, expressed her confidence in the Nakuru players, believing in their ability to excel in the upcoming competition in Rwanda.

Stellah Mwaura, the Chief Officer for Youth and Sports, wished the players the best of luck and has high hopes that they will represent the county admirably in the forthcoming events in Rwanda.
Among the football players selected are Maurice Odhiambo, Kevin Ochieng, Daniel Ng’ang’a, Evans Kodero, Oliver Jananga, Bernard Mutinda, Peter Ng’ang’a, Eliud Njenga, Edwin Okelo, and James Juma Omondi, who serves as the Head Coach.






In the men’s volleyball category, the selected players include Benson Maina, Peter Gikonyo, Paul Ndirangu, and Daniel Kamau, who is the Head Coach.
The Darts team is represented by Simon Kariuki and Joel Bet, while the pool players consist of Patrick Korir, and Joel Ngotho, with Kimotho Mungai serving as the Head Coach.
