
County’s Department of Youth, Sports, Gender and Social Services Sets Agenda for New Year

Nakuru County’s Department of Youth, Sport, Gender and Social Services aims to formulate and implement social policies, nurture talent and embrace diversity across the county.
Today, the County Executive Committee Member Josephine Achieng’ engaged the department’s officers at the Nakuru County Empowerment Center regarding the department’s new year’s resolutions.
Each officer presented their work plan and resolutions for the year. Administratively, officers issued the Citizens’ Customer Service Delivery Charter to engage the public in Nakuru County.
The CEC encouraged officers to work collaboratively to implement the new year resolutions. She also emphasized the importance of team building to strengthen bonds among officers for efficient service delivery.
The officers agreed upon working closely towards achieving the set goals as the new year’s resolutions for the department.
Josephine Achieng’ maintained that she will fast track all the department’s projects towards completion to enable youth access freely the facilities meant for their services.
All the social facilities in the department, the County Executive Committee Member said, shall have proper governance in their management to combat insecurity.
The Department’s mission and vision is in alignment with the Governor’s agenda in fulfilling the promise to the people.
