
County to collaborate with International Youth Fellowship on mindset education

Education, ICT and E-government Executive Member Zipporah Wambui has today held a consultative meeting with Nakuru Regional Director of International Youth Fellowship (IYF) Bruce Kim seeking a collaboration in cascading the mindset education to the youth in Vocational Training Institutions within the county.
Bruce Kim who also doubles up as a mind education specialist paid a courtesy call to discuss areas of collaboration aimed at implementing the program.
IYF is a Korean-based Christian Organization with branches in over 100 countries including Kenya which focuses on mind education to develop people with positive attitudes and the correct mindset about life.
Through the partnership with the County Government, IYF is set to provide mind education that will instil the right mind and brings about actual change in the life of the youth in the Vocational training centres and Nakuru at large.
The program will also strive to help people live a happy life by overcoming problems and to heal the ill society as it focuses on the change of mind that leads to a change of life.
Speaking during the meeting the CECM thanked the team for the initiative noting it to be a good one as it will go a long way in empowering more youth to have a positive mind, change of mind hence change of life.
Zipporah assured the team of Governor Susan Kihika’s support to make the program achievable and sustainable.
Also present was the Director of the Vocational Training Center David Mwangi.
