H.E Deputy Governor David Kones has delivered a compelling address, highlighting the urgent need for concerted efforts to address environmental challenges while he flagged off the City’s inaugural clean up exercise at Pipeline Area, Nakuru East.
His words inspired the public to reflect on their responsibilities in preserving the natural beauty and the aesthetics of the City while he emphasized on the need to regain the City’s glory of a clean City.
The noble exercise drew notable partners and enthusiastic members of the public demonstrating a unified commitment to fostering a cleaner and healthier environment for all.
“Such collaborative efforts not only enhance the aesthetics of the city but also underscore the community’s dedication to environmental stewardship and sustainable living,” remarked CECM Nelson Maara while he echoed the DG’s sentiments

The participation of the organizations including KWS, NEMA, NASWAMA, KARA, Stima Sacco, Red Cross Kenya, Slow Food Kenya, Rotaract Club of Menengai, Team Environment Kenya, Valley Hospital, Chakula Centre, Classic Events, Mlango Fiti, Lions Club of Nakuru, Inga Farm Care, Egerton University and numerous other partners, demonstrated a collaborative effort aimed at fostering a cleaner and healthier environment for all.
