Education Department Unveils New Classrooms and Facilities in Various Wards

The County Government of Nakuru, through the Department of Education, commissioned two ECDE classrooms, equipped with age-appropriate furniture and a water tank, at Kiptenden Primary School in Amalo ward, Kuresoi South Sub-county.
County Executive Committee Member for Education Hon. Zipporah Wambui graced the occasion where she outlined the significant impact the project will have in enhancing education standards and providing a conducive environment for earners.
Hon Wambui added that the county will construct a 4-door toilet and urinal to improve hygiene standards for ECDE learners at the school.
Additional age-appropriate furniture including tables and chairs will be provided to ensure both the Pre-primary 1 and 2 learners sit comfortably and focus on their studies. Learning materials will also be distributed across the county, to enhance classroom learning.
The timely and quality work done in these projects is a true reflection of H. E Governor Susan Kihika’s commitment to delivering quality work and ensuring proper utilization of taxpayers’ money.
Hon Robert Lang’at, the area MCA, assured the community of more quality development projects in the area, which will be achieved through a cordial working relationship and teamwork with H.E Governor Susan Kihika’s administration.
The Headteacher, board members and the residents of Amalo at large, appreciated Governor Susan Kihika for the quality work done, describing the project as more advanced than those done before in the area.
Other projects launched in Soin Ward, Rongai Sub-county by the department include an 8-door toilet at Majani Mingi Vocational Training Center, a modern ECDE classroom with a terrazzo floor at Kipsyenan Primary School and the renovation of ECDE classrooms at Sawaiti ECDE centre. The projects are a true testament to Governor Kihika’s commitment to delivering quality education and work for the people of Nakuru County.
