Empowering Youth and Nurturing Talents at the Nakuru Ajiry Studio Hub
Written By James M. Alumera
When she launched the Nakuru Ajiry Studio Hub on 12th August, H.E Governor Susan Kihika was very focused on empowering youth and nurturing talents across the county.
Since its launch, the centre has so far recorded 54 songs 46 of which are ready for the market since they have met all the qualifications from the studio.
The studio also does music podcasts covering topics related to music and musicians, which often include reviews, interpretations, new releases, musician interviews, music history, music creation, and music theory.
The County’s Directorate of Youth Affairs issued a directive on the services rendered at the Centre and preferably favours the young and promising talents since the song recording is free of charge and links you with YouTube opportunities for the uploads and all benefits including the Producer services.
The Chief Officer for Youth and Sports Ms Stellah Mwaura together with The directorate head Mr. Josphat Kimemia Encourages young people to take these early steps in joining and utilise the opportunities offered by H.E Governor Susan Kihika to them.
We look forward to seeing great Artists coming from Nakuru County empowered by the Department.
