Governor Kihika’s Promise Fulfilled, Lare Ward Gets Water Kiosk

Residents of Lare Ward in Njoro Sub-county are set to benefit from clean and safe drinking water following the completion of a water kiosk and the installation of a 10,000-liter water tank at the Kasarani Playing field.
The project was officially handed over to the county government today by the Contractor. It was agreed that the Lare Vision Secondary School management will oversee the operation of the water kiosk, ensuring it serves the school, athletes using the field and the surrounding community effectively.
Speaking during the handover, Project Coordinator Mr Waikinda Nganga praised the contractor for completing the project on time, noting its significance as part of the Rapid Results Initiative (RRI) under Governor Susan Kihika’s manifesto.
Area MCA Hon. Peter Wanjohi applauded the collaborative efforts that brought the project to fruition. He emphasized that the initiative would have a far-reaching positive impact on the residents of Lare Ward.
Engineer Maureen Chepkurui encouraged the school management to take care of the water facility to meet its purpose of service delivery to the people of Lare Ward.
Mr Kangongo Cheruiyot echoed the sentiments of the project coordinator and the MCA thus emphasising the need for collaboration between the executive and the legislation.
The representative from the Nakuru Rural Water and Sanitation Company (Naruwasco) , urged the administration to follow all the Water procedures enabling efficiency and Water supply to the kiosk 24/7 servicing the community at large.
The PMCs lauded the good work of Her Excellency Governor Susan Kihika’s commitment to service delivery as promised to the people during the campaign time and today is a witness of her word.
