Imarisha Barabara Program Enhances Accessibility and Development in Nakuru County.

The ongoing rehabilitation of roads throughout Nakuru County under the Imarisha Barabara program is a testament to H.E. Governor Susan Kihika’s unwavering commitment to improving accessibility and infrastructure. This initiative is significantly enhancing transportation networks, fostering economic development, and improving the quality of life for residents.
Recent Road Projects include grading, gravelling and compacting of Gwashare Village Access Road (Malewa West Ward, Gilgil Sub-county), dozing of Vikingi Access Road (Marioshoni Ward, Molo Sub-county), grading of Rubiri Access Road (Hellsgate Ward, Naivasha Sub-county), grading and gravelling of Utamaduni and Kikopey Access Roads (Gilgil Ward), grading of Subuku-Kapjohana to Amani Center Road (Neissuit ward) and dozing of Moricho-Kapsambu-Butler Road and Moricho-Nyamweya (Visoi Ward).
Additionally, the grading and spreading of gravel have been done in areas such as Belbur-Dispensary Area, Ngondu PCEA Road, and Sosiot Road in Njoro Ward. These improvements are providing better routes for transporting goods to markets, thus boosting local economies.
The upgraded roads facilitate safer and more efficient transportation, essential for daily commuting, economic activities, and accessing essential services. Governor Susan Kihika’s administration remains dedicated to addressing road infrastructure needs across the county.
By continuously investing in the grading, gravelling, compacting, and dozing of critical access roads, the Imarisha Barabara program is transforming Nakuru County, making it a model for infrastructural development.
