London Ward Beneficiaries Receive Sports Equipment

The Chief Officer for Youth, Talent and Sports Pastor Alex Maina today led a sports equipment distribution exercise in London Ward, Nakuru Town West Sub-county.
Seven teams, Including Ignite Youth Skaters and Badminton, Kirima Darts, PCEA Women/Men Volleyball, Saints Basketball and Prisons Volleyball received gear to boost their game.
Pastor Alex Maina hinted at the upcoming Governor’s Cup tournament, promising exciting rewards for participating teams across all sporting disciplines.
Hon Bernard Maina Gatuso MCA London Ward lauded Governor Susan Kihika’s commitments to supporting sporting activities in Nakuru. Also, said he would be using referees, Coaches and Sports Officers to reach out to more players for empowerment in the Ward.
Keter Edwin the Ward Administrator encouraged the beneficiaries to utilize the gear tools to explore potential in sports. The process for the distribution will be fairly as earlier stated , he added.
One of the beneficiaries couldn’t hide his happiness as he expressed his gratitude to the Governor for considering young people in the county and made a request to the chief officer Pst Alex Maina to regularly visiting the teams to boost their morale.
Special quests were Caroline Nulu (Sports Officer Nakuru West Sub-County), Teams Representatives among others.
