
Nakuru County Gears up for Mr and Miss Body Building

Nakuru County Government in collaboration with Bull Dog Fitiness Center (BDFC) is gearing up for an event in April dubbed Mr and Miss Nakuru Body Building and Power Lifting Contest in April.
The Chief Officer for Youth, Sports Talent and Resource Mobilization Pastor Alex Maina met with the team from the BDFC led by their leader Mr. Chris Mbwabi to discuss the upcoming event preparation at the County Headquarters.
This competition is set to attract over four hundred participants, showcasing the strength and prowess of bodybuilders and powerlifters from across the county.The ultimate goal is to assemble a formidable team that will represent Nakuru County in the prestigious Mr. and Miss Kenya competitions.
Pastor Alex Maina reassured the BDFC team of the department’s unwavering support, emphasizing the alignment of the event with H.E Susan Kihika’s manifesto. The commitment to nurturing talents at the grassroots level in various sports disciplines is at the forefront of the county’s objectives.
The competition will attract and bring on board many partners across the county that engages in food supply, construction and management companies, event planning companies and saccos among others.
There shall be numerous prizes to be won including cash prizes and medals for the winners.
“The event will mark a decade since it first took place organized by Taidys Hotel. It will be an exciting and excellent event which will motivate youngsters to venture,” Baha stated.
