Nakuru County set to host Second National Inter-County Sitting Volleyball Championships in September

Nakuru County Government is set to host the Paravolley National Inter-County League from September 12th to 14th, 2024. The event is organized by the Kenya Paravolley Federation.

This was revealed in a meeting between the Chief Officer for Youth, Sports and Talents Pastor Alex Maina and the Nakuru Paravolley Club team, led by Team Manager Judith Barasa at the County’s Headquarters.

The Chief Officer reassured the team of the department’s unwavering support and readiness to host the event, which is expected to see participation from over fifteen counties.

Ms Barasa said that this will be a fantastic opportunity for Nakuru County’s players to shine since they will be playing on the homeground soil.She is confident with the team to emerge Victor’s in the forthcoming competition.

The main goal of the tournament is supplement the county’s sports development efforts assuring to inspire and motivate Paravolley players to pursue their dreams thus represent Nakuru on the National stage.
