Nakuru County Supports Homecoming Event and Foundation Launch for Benga Sensation Syck Junior Simba in Kiamaina

Chief Officers Newton Mwaura (Agriculture), Samuel Ndegwa (Trade), and Stella Mwaura (I.C.T) represented Governor Susan Kihika at the homecoming event of Benga Singer Simon Kinyua, popularly known as Syck Junior Simba, held at Kiamaina Primary in Bahati Sub-county.

The Benga sensation treated his fans to an unforgettable experience during the homecoming event, also taking the opportunity to launch his Mama wa Kambo foundation. The foundation aims to support children and youth in reaching their full potential and building better lives.

Chief Officer Newton emphasized the government’s commitment to identifying and nurturing hidden talents, working closely with emerging artists to help them grow and develop their potential.

Syck Junior, renowned for hits like “Tetema” and “Mama wa Kambo,” expressed gratitude to the county government for its support. He noted that having them physically present at the occasion was a significant motivation for him and other artists.

The event saw the participation of various artists, including Samidoh, Wanja Asali, Joyce wa Mama, Tony Young, Waithaka wa Jane, 90K Mso, Salim Young, Banema, Gituge FM, representatives from the Office of the Governor, Martin Gicinga, Subukia Samuel Gachobe, MCA Kabatini Hon Leah Njoroge, and representatives from Irene Njoki’s office.
