Written By James M Alumera
Fifty youths from Nakuru Town West and East came together for a socio-economic empowerment forum organized by the County’s Directorate of Youth, alongside Midrift Hurinet and Shiloh Youth Project.
Participants got a unique experience from the training that centered on comprehensive sales and marketing strategies, emphasizing skills enhancement, mindset development, and personal growth.
Chief Officer for Youth, Sports, Talent, and Resource Mobilization, Alex Maina challenged the youth to refine their skills continuously and embrace discipline in their pursuits.
He highlighted Governor Susan Kihika’s commitment to nurturing entrepreneurship and digital marketing among youth for substantial income generation.
The Chief Officer for Gender, Gladys Kamuren encouraged the youths to apply for various tenders advertised under the AGPO entity and other special interest empowerment initiatives by the County administration.
The Midrift Hurinet and the Shiloh Youth Project do capacity building for members, groups, and other institutions for empowerment and growth.
