
New era in Healthcare system as Nakuru set to have modern automated Laboratory Management System

ELSMED Healthcare Solutions in collaboration with Siemens has set a framework with Nakuru County for the construction of a state-of-the-art Automated Laboratory Management System.
The cutting-edge technology will revolutionize the county diagnostic systems by allowing for more precise and comprehensive analysis of samples. This will lead to more accurate diagnoses and better patient outcomes while reducing the time and resources required for testing.
Elsmed’s Chief Executive Officer, Yaren Farachi today met with Ag. County Secretary and Head of Public Service, Dr Samuel Mwaura to discuss the implementation of the multi-Billion project.
The technology will also involve the use of drones for sample transportation with Nakuru County Referral and Teaching Hospital will be the main hub and other peripheral facilities as spokes for seamless service delivery to the community.
This will usher in a new era of healthcare logistics and fortify the County’s Primary healthcare networks.
The engagement was also attended by the County Executive for Health, Jacqueline Osoro, the County Attorney, Caleb Nyamwange, the Chief Officer for Medical Services, Dr John Murima, the Chief Officer for Public Health, Alice Abuki, and a host of County Directors of Health.
Under the leadership of H.E. Governor Susan Kihika, the transformative journey of embracing innovation and investments will revolutionize the healthcare system in Nakuru County.
