18 Cohorts Graduate from Nakuru County Empowerment Centre

County Executive for Youth, Sports, Gender and Social Services Josephine Atieno, today graced the Nakuru County Empowerment Center, Second Graduation ceremony where a cohort of Eighteen graduates were awarded certificates.

The certificates were mainly in Computer Literacy which covers the following modules; Microsoft Applications, CV Writing, Public Speaking, Financial Management and Artificial Intelligence ( AI ). Five of the graduates have already secured job placements.

The CECM lauded the directorate for their efforts in realising the vision and dream of Governor H.E Susan Kihika. She further wished the graduates the best of luck in their endeavours.

The Chief Officer for Youth, Sports, Talent and Resource Mobilization Pastor Alex Maina in his congratulatory message to the graduates, encouraged them to be focused, goal-oriented, hardworking and visioned for greatness.

The County’s Directorate of Youth Affairs Director Mr Josephat Kimemia praised the graduates for their well-disciplined character and wished them the best wishes in their making journey.

The Nakuru Ajiry Center Manager Ms Victoria Kithongo appreciated the second Cohort of the Nakuru County Empowerment Center for their cooperation and focus on this great achievement of their graduation.

Madam Catherine Macharia, the Program Officer, encouraged the graduates to be the best out there, grab any opportunity given, and run with it. She quoted Chadwick Boseman ” In life, you rather find a purpose than a career.”

In attendance were Ward Administrators, Representatives from Midrift, Football Agent, Maya Glan Couture, PSTD Administrators, and Ajiry among others.
