Tarmacking of Salgaa center road commences

The tarmacking of salgaa shopping center road and the improvement of the drainage system which commenced today has brought joy to residents of salgaa town and its environs.
The 900 meters upgrade of the road that starts at salgaa market is one of the major transformative infrastructural development programs being undertaken in the busy center.
305 meters of the road has been tarmacked today with the other remaining stretch set to be completed by within two days.
“This project will change the face of the fast-growing town and provide an inclusive, efficient, and conducive business environment that will spur economic growth for the people,”noted Nancy,a local trader within the center.
The road is expected to link all public facilities as well as improve security and access in the town and its environs.
The engineer in-charge of the project,Symon Kariuki noted that the county government is keen to ensure there is an elaborate and upgraded road network in the country, as the infrastructure will boost economic activities.
The walkway stretch for people to walk along will also be tarmacked once the main road has been completed.
