He has served in the Ministry of Agriculture as a Soils Water and Conservation officer, a regional rehabilitation officer for the Kenya Society for the Blind, Sight Savers International as well as other prominent positions in the public domain

He has a Bachelors of Science in Environmental Health from Kenyatta University. Diploma in Agriculture Engineering from Egerton University as well as a vast array of certified qualifications.
