Managers Message
Greetings to all residents of Naivasha Municipality and stakeholders.
On behalf of the Municipal Board, it is my honor to address you under the provisions of the Urban Areas and Cities Act, 2011 as revised in 2019, which empowers us to foster sustainable urban development, inclusive governance, and strategic service delivery.Naivasha stands as a cornerstone of Nakuru County, recognized for its vibrant economic activity, Urban greening, and as a key player in Kenya’s industrial and tourism sectors. The municipality, home to Lake Naivasha, geothermal power plants, agricultural ventures, and the Inland Container Depot (ICD), has grown into a vital hub for national and regional progress.
Guided by the principles of transparency, accountability, and public participation outlined in the Act, our priority remains enhancing service delivery, infrastructure development and maintenance, and social amenities to match the rapid growth we are experiencing.
