County Chief Officers urged to be accountable and serve with the highest level of integrity

The Ag. County Secretary Dr Samuel Mwaura today officiated the appointment of the County Chief Officers after being approved by the County Assembly.
Dr Mwaura urged the new Chief Officers to ensure they serve the people of Nakuru with the highest level of integrity, and transparency and be accountable to the public and staff.
“I urge you to ensure that you align the departmental programs, and projects and execute their mandate to meet H.E Governor Susan Kihika’s manifesto to the people of Nakuru,” added Dr Mwaura.
Dr Mwaura also expressed confidence in the Chief Officers and reiterated H.E. the Governor’s directive to ensure that there is uninterrupted service delivery and unnecessary bureaucracy in their respective offices.
The County Chief Officers include Dr Michael Cheruiyot (Livestock Development & Veterinary Services), Ms Alice Abuki (Public Health), Mr Ndegwa Samuel (Trade, Business Support and Industrialization), Ms Evelyn Kakai (Economic Planning), Mr Alex Maina (Resource Mobilization), Mr John Koech (Education), Mr Joseph Malinda (Finance and Revenue Administration), Ms Ncece Joyce (Disaster Management & Humanitarian Assistance), Ms Gladys Kamuren (Gender Social Services and Inclusivity), Ms Rosemary Kimani (Tourism and Culture), Mr Barasa Kennedy Mungai (Environment, Energy, Climate Change & Natural Resources).
