Deputy Governor Korir asks KEMSA to improve supply chain
The County Government of Nakuru has asked the Kenya Medical Supplies Authority to improve on supply chain solutions to help counties achieve universal healthcare coverage.
Deputy Governor Dr. Erick Korir asked the medical agency to ensure that supplies are delivered in time and with adequate shelflife.
Dr Korir was speaking when he represented Governor Lee Kinyanjui at the launch of the County Pharmacists Stakeholders Forum Program chaired by KEMSA CEO Dr Fred Wanyinyi.
The DG also asked County pharmacists to ensure proper record keeping and stock taking to avoid stock-outs.
He also assured that the County will continue to work with KEMSA and other partners to improve on healthcare services.
Also in attendance was county CEC for health Dr Jonah Manjari.
