Boost for Nakuru investors conference as Governor Lee signs agreement with KNCCI
NGPU-Governor Lee Kinyanjui and Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI) chairperson Kiprono Kittony have signed a partnership agreement on the Nakuru International Investors Conference (NIICO) to be held from November 29 to December 1, 2018 in Naivasha.
The signing took place yesterday evening when Mr. Kittony met with the Governor.
The County boss thanked KNCCI for offering their support, noting that the chamber has links to local and international investors.
He said the conference will boost trade and showcase the unlimited opportunities Nakuru has, ” the Governor said.
He assured Mr. Kittony of the County Government’s support to the Nakuru business community.
“We are particularly keen to ensure suppliers to the County are paid within two weeks after delivery, and they will receive communication incase there is any delay in the payment, ”the Governor said.
Mr. Kittony congratulated Nakuru for having a friendly tax regime and good governance.
He said the County has huge potential and promised to mobilise KNCCI members and investors to attend the conference.
He also congratulated the County for paying the pending bills.
