CECM Health hosts Kenya Medical Association, Nakuru Division

The Kenya Medical Association-KMA, Nakuru Division today paid a courtesy call to the County Executive Committee Member-CECM for Health Sevices, Ms Jackline Osoro.
Kenya Medical Association is a National Association of Doctors and Dentists mandated by its members to promote the quality practice of medicine in Kenya.
The CECM, Health Ms Jackline Osoro welcomed the collaboration stating that KMA holds a strategic position in health sector policy by being part of the County decision-making boards for the practice of medicine and the protection of patients.
The KMA, Nakuru Chairman, Dr Felix Atisa assured the Leadership that KMA has medical professionals who can bring their input for personnel matters in the County.
This year, the Association will lead the World Cancer Day Celebrations in partnership with the County Government on the 4th of February at the Nakuru County Referral and Teaching Hospital.
Also present was the Chief Officer for Medical Services, Dr John Murima, the Chief Officer of Public Health, Ms Alice Abuki, and the National Kenya Medical Association Vice Chairperson, Dr Amos Otara.
