Celebrating International Forests’ Day at Section 58 in Nakuru town
We thank Kenya Defence Forces, KWS, KFS, schools and private partners for participating in this event.
This is a demonstration that we appreciate that the environment belongs to all of us.
We are committed to ensure Nakuru is green even as we look forward to being awarded city status. To us, the theme of this year’s celebration “Forest and sustainable cities” is timely.
I challange Nakuru residents to plant trees in their homes, estates and institutions such as school so that we increase forest cover in our city.
