Josephine Achieng assumes office as CECM, Gender, Sports & Social Services

Ms. Josephine Achieng has officially taken over as the County Executive Committee Member(CECM), Gender, Sports, and Social Services after being sworn in yesterday.

Ms. Achieng was handed over the docket by Mrs. Sylvia Onyango who was in the department for over a year.

During the handover ceremony today, Mrs. Onyango welcomed Ms. Achieng and wished her well, and assured her of her support in ensuring service delivery to the people of Nakuru.

Ms. Acheng also met the top management in the Department of Gender, Sports, and Social Services and assured them of her full support in the implementation of programs and projects across the county.

She promised to promote teamwork in pushing the agenda of youth, women, and Persons Living with Disabilities.
