Leonard Bor assumes office as CECM, Agriculture, Livestock & Fisheries

Leonard Bor has officially taken office as the County Executive Committee Member – CECM for the Department of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries, and Cooperatives.

Mr. Bor took over from Eng. Reuben Maritim who was in an acting capacity in the department.

” I want to thank the Governor for appointing me, I promise to work together with the technical team to achieve the agricultural agenda of H.E. Governor Susan Kihika.” he said.

He further assured to support programs implemented in the department including the pyrethrum revival program, avocado farming, the Nakuru Farmers Call Center, crop diversification program, and the County Agricultural Sector Steering Committee (CASSCOM) among others. Also present was the Chief Officer for Agriculture Mr. Kibet Maina.
