Magical Kenya Travel Expo To Boost Trade In The County

The County Government of Nakuru is participating in the Magical Kenya Travel Expo(MKTE)2019 being held at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) in Nairobi.

The County Government has also sponsored
some of the stakeholders in the tourism industry from the County to participate in order
to market and sell Nakuru County as the most suitable investment destination.

Magical Kenya Travel Expo is a gathering of trade and travel exhibitors whose aim is to raise the profile of a destination.

The 2019 event between 2nd – 4th October will be the 9th edition and participants from the County will also network and explore business opportunities at the leading travel expo in Africa.

During the Expo, the team from the County will also benefit from pre-scheduled appointments between exhibitors and hosted buyers.

On the sideline of the event, seminars will be held to promote the profile of our county and other destinations.

The seminars will be on;

1.Tourism & Digital Transformation: impact
of technology on tourism

2. Change Makers: Role of storytelling in community-based tourism.

3.Recognizing Innovators: Digital technologies
in sustainability and Eco-tourism

Participants in the trade Expo are key destination makers.

They include tour operators and travel agents and
incentive buyers from
Australia, Belgium, China, France, Germany
Ghana, India, Italy, Nigeria, Norway,Canada,USA,Russia,Rwanda,South Africa,Spain,Netherlands, among others.

The trade Expo will boost sales in the County as well as promote its image in global markets.
