County to fully automate health systems
The quest by the County Government of Nakuru to fully automate health systems in all facilities is on course.
This is aimed at improving work efficiency, accountability and client experience by reducing the patient service turn around time.
Already, the automation process is ongoing at Nakuru Level 5 Hospital and Naivasha, Molo and Keringet sub-County hospitals.
County Minister for Health Dr Kariuki Gichuki added that the move will seal graft loopholes and ease the payment process.
He was speaking when he received hardware equipment such as trunking cables, laptops, wiring cables, desktops for the project.
The Sh51 million automation project is a partnership between the County Government of Nakuru and USAID.
