County to hold first Water and Sanitation conference

The County Government of Nakuru is planning to hold the first Water and Sanitation conference from March 25 to March 28.

The conference dubbed Innovate 4 Water and Sanitation seeks to find financial solutions for innovations that curb climate change and waste management.

As the theme ‘Accelerating financing of climate SMART Water and Sanitation solutions’ suggests, the delegates will be expected to come up with recommendations on investment opportunities in this sector as well as pointing out projects and programs that they can finance.

The water utilities namely NAWASSCO,NARUWASSCO and NAIVAWASS will make presentations on various topical issues all linked to water and Sanitation.
