Nakuru County Continues its Support of Darts Competitions

The County’s Darts Tournament at Jacaranda Restaurant in London Ward, Nakuru Town West Sub-county has attracted 21 teams from across the country competing over the past two days.
Speaking at the event, County Executive Committee Member for Youth Sports, Gender, and Social Services, Josephine Atieno highlighted the importance of promoting diverse sports disciplines in Nakuru County, emphasizing the commitment of H.E. Governor Susan Kihika to provide Darts Boards and arrows for all participating Sub-counties.
The teams are competing in different categories including Men and Ladies (Singles), and Men and Women (Doubles), alongside a Youth Singles category.
Hon Bernard Gatuso, the area MCA, congratulated the winners who had shown high levels of discipline. He promised to continue working with sportsmen to ensure their talents are fully utilized.
Darts Chairperson, Peter Kariuki, thanked the County Government for supporting the sport and always coming on board with facilitation.
