
We are committed to service delivery – Nakuru MCAs affirm
The Nakuru County Secretary Dr Samuel Mwaura today represented Governor Susan Kihika during the homecoming celebrations for Gilgil Member of County Assembly Hon. Rose Njoroge.
The event was attended by the area MP Martha Wangari, the speaker of Nakuru County Assembly, Hon. Joel Maina Karuri, CECMs and COs from Nakuru county, clergy from various churches and a host of MCAs. The event was a culmination of the Gilgil MCA’s win during the August elections.
Dr Mwaura delivered Her Excellency the Governor’s message of goodwill, in congratulations to Hon Rose.
“If we can’t celebrate one of our own, then we don’t deserve the win we got. Our Governor is committed to uniting the leaders in this County for a progressive society,” said Dr Mwaura.
He congratulated the leadership of the County Assembly led by speaker Joel Maina Karuri for being at the forefront of matters of leadership and service delivery.
Dr Mwaura also encouraged locals to support the Governor through her manifesto and to monitor projects undertaken by the County Government.
The speaker, in his address, reiterated the MCAs’ commitment to a united assembly that will focus on delivering the mandate and manifesto of the government.
The area MP Hon Martha Wangari congratulated the MCA for a deserving win and for being a role model to the girl-child. She also thanked the governor for the appointment of Dr Mwaura as the CS saying this had brought regional balance to her cabinet.
