How Nakuru County is preparing for Coronavirus

Nakuru County has intensified its preparedness to handle any Coronavirus case.

Speaking at training on Coronavirus at the Nakuru Referral Hospital, Health CEC Dr. Kariuki Gichuki stated that over 200 workers have already been trained to handle any threat by the virus.

Mr. Gichuki also said that Personal Protection Equipment(PPE) had been made available to the County to make it possible for medical personnel to handle any patient without getting infected.

He also urged the County residents to practice prevention measures such as hand washing and avoiding crowded places.

The CEC made it clear that getting information to residents in advance about the virus would immensely prevent any outbreak.
